In 2003, AMD pioneered 64-bit design architectures in their 8th generation AMD Athlon 64 processor to set a new standard in computing.
Since 2009, we begun to see more and more Operating System (OS) & software developers begin to push 64-bit system into reality.
What is 64-bit?
A 32bit OS has 3GB memory barrier. That said, if u put 4GB memory or more, only 3GB will be available of use.
The 64-bit system unveiled memory usage > 3GB. If you put 4GB on your system, you can use 4GB. If you put 16GB, you can use full 16GB.
If you work on multitasking, video editing, photo editing, etc. Surely more memory will do help a lot.
More memory always better.
Suggestion: Use 64bit Windows7 now~
